๐ฎ๐น What a thrilling week of Sinigaglia! I performed his Romance and Rapsodia piemontese 5x (!!) (2 were during the Philharmonie's open day #PhilOpenDay) with my amazing colleagues of Berliner Philharmoniker and chief conductor Kirill Petrenko ๐ฉ๐ช ![]()
I'm always excited to play music by lesser known or forgotten composers. Though I have performed professionally for many years, there are still many composers for me to discover! I didn't know any works of Sinigaglia before, but feel he is unjustly forgotten. The works I performed are wonderful music, and I intend to keep playing them. What other lesser known composers have you discovered recently?
